Accent coaching is for those individuals who have mastered the English language to a high professional degree and now wish to take the final step towards not being recognised as a non-native speaker
If you have spent years perfecting your English but are disappointed every time someone asks you where you are from then this course is for you! Most non-native speakers will have experienced this, particularly in a professional environment where one wants to shine in a professional capacity and be purely singled for one's talents as opposed to one's accent

What can you expect from an Accent Coaching Course?
Our affordable accent coaching sessions will define the most problematic areas of your accent and focus in on them using specific exercises. A programme will be created specifically tailed to your needs by one of our experts who have been trained in phonetics, diction and the biology of the mouth. By means of particular vocal exercises, creating word lists of frequently used words as well as focusing on rhythm and speed you will slowly gain in confidence and feel your accent develop as time progresses. You will typically go through five stages during your course:
1) Clear recognition of one's own major accent differences to native speakers
2) Clear differentiation of accent differences and sounds amongst native and non-native speakers
3) Awareness of one's own "mistakes" and ability to correct them sometimes
4) Auto correct on a regular basis
5) Automatic adoptation of correct sound |
